I am trying to figure out why, or how to work around it. The problem is the effects/enhancement stuff is all missing from that control panel (without using Nahimic) both in the Realtek/MSI control panel and Windows Sounds panel. HDA = Full driver, includes control panel (but it is still missing effects/enhancements on MSI boards) and get Nahimic from a normal setup.exe, which I am not interested in. UAD = Stripped down driver, get control panel and Nahimic from Windows Store ( Windows 10 LTSC does not have Windows Store) I can install the exact same generic Realtek driver, from the exact same folder on my Gigabyte boards and have fully a functioning driver/control panel, but on this MSI board, it gets features disabled and expects me to install the vastly inferior and unnecessary Nahimic to replace/re-enable them. ![]() Both of those are "dependent" on Nahimic as far as I can tell. ![]() ![]() UAD version and HDA version (my first screen shot).
